Located in the most affluent suburb in the Memphis Metro Area, Saddle Creek, which opened in 1987, is widely known as the first “lifestyle” center developed in the US.
Over 50% of Saddle Creek’s retailers are unique to the Memphis market, and include retailers such as Allen Edmonds, Anthropologie, Apple, Lily Rain, Michael Kors, Kendra Scott, J. Crew, J. Jill, Paper Source, and Soft Surroundings to name a few. New tenants coming soon include Sur la Table, Victoria’s Secret, Jos. A. Bank and See Eyewear.
Saddle Creek is continuing to evolve with the recent completion of a major renovation and expansion. Phase I redevelopment efforts are complete. The overall redevelopment centered on the property renovation and expansion of the southwest side of Poplar Avenue & West Street where a two-story building was demolished and a new 20,000 sf retail and restaurant building was added. Additional improvements included remodeled building façades at Saddle Creek South & West; upgrades to plazas, public art, lighting, signage, wayfinding and landscaping.
The second phase of renovations are complete and include approximately 5,000 square feet of new retail space and additional parking at Saddle Creek North. The new building, along with new signage, wayfinding, and landscaping, public space transformation, and façade renovations, connect the northeast corner to Saddle Creek South.
