Located in the most affluent suburb in the Memphis Metro Area, Saddle Creek, which opened in 1987, is widely known as the first “lifestyle” center developed in the US.
Over 70% of Saddle Creek’s retailers are unique to the Memphis market, including Allen Edmonds, Anthropologie, Apple, Athleta, Brighton, Brooks Brothers, Everything But Water, Free People, J. Crew, Kendra Scott, lily rain, lululemon, Madewell, Michael Kors, Paper Source, SEE Eyewear, Soft Surroundings, Sur la Table, and Vera Bradley, to name a few.
Saddle Creek is continuing to evolve with the recent completion of a major renovation and expansion. At Saddle Creek South, located at the southwest corner of Poplar Avenue and West Street, a two-story building was demolished to make way for 20,000 square feet of new retail space. Additional improvements included remodeled building façades and upgraded plazas, lighting, signage and landscaping. The second phase of renovations focused on Saddle Creek North, located at the northeast corner of Poplar Avenue and West Farmington Boulevard. Improvements included the addition of approximately 5,000 square feet of new retail space, as well as remodeled building façades and upgraded plazas, lighting, signage and landscaping.
