While many of Trademark’s properties raise funds throughout the year at events with charity partners, we also give our employees several ways to contribute individually. One such opportunity is through our annual two-week Trademark Make a Difference Foundation Employee Fundraiser. In 2016, employees donated $41,190, which was distributed to local nonprofit organizations with a focus on Education, Environment, Health, Human Services, Safety and Youth.
In addition, Trademark’s employee volunteer program provides paid time to give back. Each year some of those hours are spent building a house with Habitat for Humanity, the 19th of which was built in 2018. Trademark’s 2016 charitable recipients also included American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Operation Kindness, North Texas Humane Society, Tarrant Area Food Bank, United Way and many more.
Trademark encourages its employees to get involved with charities that they are passionate about. CEO Terry Montesi grew a mustache for 30 days to raise awareness and support for the Movember Foundation, which is the leading global organization committed to changing the face of men’s health. In 2016 Montesi ended up coming third nationally in the individual category, raising $59,768.
