Yet another luxury mall in the greater Houston area is getting a makeover.
Starting at the end of June, Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co.’s Market Street The Woodlands will undergo renovations to improve its aesthetic and infrastructure, according to a recent press release. Investment costs were not disclosed. Market Street will remain open throughout the construction process, which is expected to be complete by the end of the year, General Manager Jenny Taylor told Houston Business Journal.
When the updates are finished, Market Street’s green space, called Central Park, will have synthetic turf, new sculptures and pergolas as well as more and better outdoor seating areas, per the release. Additionally, the development will have enhanced pedestrian pathways with new lighting, new landscaping and pavement along with new signage and graphics.
